Wide Receiver Play presents guidelines detailing the most effective way to run all the basic pass routes. The DVD shows exactly how to run an efficient speed-cut, as well as the use of a four-step breakdown technique to get in and out of the route the quickest, most efficient way possible. The best way to beat the bump-and-run (press) defender and how to run all the routes without disrupting the timing of the pass are also reviewed. Biography
Ron Jenkins has spent the last 11 years coaching offensive football at the community-college level in Southern California. He began his coaching career in 1994 at Santa Monica College, where he coached quarterbacks and receivers. In 1996, he was hired as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Los Angeles Harbor College. During his tenure on the Seahawks’ staff, LAHC broke every offensive record. He then joined the staff at community-college football powerhouse El Camino College as assistant offensive coordinator. Jenkins currently runs the Top Gun Quarterback Receiver Academy in Torrance, California. Jenkins is a prolific writer who has authored a number of articles for various coaching journals and a much sought-after clinician who has addressed coaching clinics across the country. In addition, he has authored several well-received coaching books and has been featured on more than a dozen instructional videos/DVDs.
